CHANGE OF POLICY.
Swedish Concessions Made To Germany. TRANSIT OF TROOPS. (Received 2 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, July 28. M. Hansson, Prime Minister of Sweden, in a speech, admitted making concessione to Germany for transit through Sweden. This represented a change of policy adopted during the Norwegian hostilities," but there was no ground for the suggestion that Sweden was changing her basic policy, namely, the refusal to become the "brick" of any tower or group of Powers. It would be a mistake to suppose that Sweden did not realise her dependence on the reiit of the world, but Sweden must retain the status of a free people.
