CARE OF CHILDREN.
With the conscription of man-power added to the speeding up of product* this is bound to increase the demand for skilled workers, of which there are many among married women. However thpy are prevented from taking employnient because of the possible danger of leaving their children in untrustworthy hands. If, however, skilled care of children was to be found, such as baby creches in the of competent persons, many mothers would not worry quite so much about leaving their littk ones. Could not something be dont about this? In nearly every district there is a public hall of some kind whkk i could be used for the purpose, H*would ensure the district centre beiv convenient for the disposal of the ebilf ren in the early morning rush, and alif avoid congestion, presuming there btim only one main centre in town - MOUNT ALBERT MOTHEH. -
