ON WAY SOUTH.

THE HONOLULU CLIPPER.

EXPECTED HERE ON THURSDAY.

After a 17-hour flight, the PanAmerican Airways' Boeing machine Honolulu Clipper has reached Honolulu from San Francisco on the second mail trip on the South Pacific run.

The Honolulu Clipper is the. machine which made the survey flight to Xew Zealand in November last. She is expected to reach Auckland on Thursday afternoon, and will take off early on Saturday morning for Noumea ;:n' the first hop of the return voyage. Mails for the trip north will close on Friday morning.

It is expected that company officials will be making the trip, as well as officers of the Civil Aeronautic.il Authority, but advice as to personnel has not yet reached the Auckland base.
