Houston, of Parawera, is spending a few days in Auckland. • * • • Miss M. J. Sandford, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. G. F. Court and Miss Barbara Court, of Orakei Road, Remuera, are on a visit to Okareka.
Mrs. H. M. Hammond, of Hamilton, is visiting her mother, Mrs. C. B. Plummer, of City Road.
Miea Deidre Nettleton, of Buchanan Street, Devonport, ie, visiting Huntly, and is the guest of Mrs. Hay Chapman.
Miss Tweet Macindoe, of Westbourne Road, Reniuera, has left for Hawke's Bay, where she will be the guest of Mrs. Ralph Holden.
Among the guests at the Grand Hotel are: Miss T. T. Elston, of Dunedin; Mrs. S. Korman, of Melbourne, and Mrs. Walter Gledhill and Mrs. A. E. Newman, of Sydney.
Visitors at the Espianase Hotel include: Mrs. J. R. Henderson, of Hamilton; Miss Ada James, of Milford; Mrs. J. P. Wildman, Mrs. M. Simeon and Mrs. Walsh, of Auckland.
Staff Nurse L. E. Anderson hae been gazetted sister, and hae been granted the temporary rank of charge sister while, holding the appointment of Sister-in-Charge of Mobilisation Camp Hospital, Papakura.
Mre. D. Sinclair, of Wellington, Miss Nell Ward, of Whangarei, Miea B. Waters, of Wellington, Mrs. C. R. Clemeon, of Thames, Mrs. Single and Mrs. Calleii, of Hastings, and Miss P. Waterson, of Palmerston North, are among the guests at the Station Hotel.
