PETROL RESTRICTIONS.
EFFECT ON PRODUCTION. (From Our Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Sunday. At a meeting of the Tauranga branch of the Farmers' Union fears were voiced that the restriction of petrol for farmers' trucks would have a serious effect on production. It was decided to forward a remit protesting against the restriction to the Bay of Plenty subprovince of the union.
