LABOURER SENTENCED. The poods stolen comprised a pullover, coat, rug, blankets, torch, golf balls, cigarettes and money, the total value beinc 12/3. Detective-Sergeant McHugh said the offences were committed between July 4 and July 15.«ru1 on the latter date he was caught in the act of stealing n rug from a motor car. After hi* arrest he confessed that lie had committed the other thefts. j On two charges accused was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, the sentences to Ih> concurrent. On the other charges lie was convicted and discharged.
