NURSES' MEMORIAL FUND.

A successful bridge party was held at the Xurses' Club, Mountain Road, in aid of the nurses' memorial fund. Mrs. G. Knight, president of the Auckland branch of the Xew Zealand Registered Xurses' Association, welcomed the players and explained that the fund, started in the last war. would require increased support to assist the returning army sisters of this war. Supper was served under the able direction of Miss Buckley, matron of the club. Prizes were won by Mrs. Adams (auction), and Mrs. P. J* Xorth (contract). Miss f*. Houclien. treasurer of the fund in Auckland, reported that over £20 was realised from the bridge party.
