When the board discussed the report a _ recei 't meeting, the chairman, Mr W. H. Ragle, stated that it was just possible to cope with the morning traffic at present, but the object of the board was to get all workers home as soon as possible. Everv available tram was the peak-hour in the evening, and it was at this period that there was the greatest need for improvement. It was considered that the present peak would to a large extent right itself if changes suggested could be brought into operation.
