UPPER HOUSE SPEAKER. RECOVERY FROM ILLNESS. (Bf Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Hon. Mark Fagan, who lias been ill for several months, has resumed liU duties as Speaker of the Legislative Council. He was welcomed back to his chair by the Leader of the Council, the Hon. D. Wilson, who ieferred to the high regard in which Mr. Fagan is held by all councillors.
