COD LIVER OIL.
May I point out to your corredpoaitrt who is anxious as to the supply of eoi liver oil in this country that in * 4dying country such as New Zealand tkcrt is not the slightest necessity for eoi liver oil provided a sufficiency of batter, cream and eggs are eaten. These til 'contain a large quantity of vitanriDt I A and D and are richer in both in proportion to tlie amount of sunlightis which they are produced. Ounoft for ounce cod liver oil contains a higta percentage of vitamin D than hotter or cream, but this is more than balanced by the fact that a- very much larger amount of the latter foods can he eatea with pleasure than of the nauseating fish oil. The fact of the matter it-tittt the public are always willing to ®ty high prices for anything out of a chemist's bottle and scorn the products of the good earth, which can he ohtaiied at quarter of the price.
