NEW ZEALAND AND U.S.
Talk Of Representative From Dominion. FAVOURABLY RECEIVED. (Received noon.) WASHINGTON, July 11. Political circles generally have received with friendly interest a New Zealand Press suggestion that the Dominion should send representatives to the United States.
Influential quarters comment that the democracies bordering on the Pacific had greater mutual interests in the face of present world conditions. They emphasised that New Zealand was the only sucli nation, lacking direct diplomatic relations, and they cited the new High Commissioner connection between New Zealand and Canada as a significant trend, also the warm welcome here to the Australian Minister, Mr. R. G. Casey.
