DONATIONS TOT Ala £144,298. In an announcement received to-day the National Patriotic Fund Board states that tip to July 8 the amount received in donations totalled £144,298 10/4. The amount previously acknowledged totalled £142,793 19/10. Individual donations, exceeding £50. were those of the Council of the Fire and Accident Underwriters' Association (£500), the Post and Telegraph eta IT (a second instalment of £400, making their total contribution £800 to date", the New Zealand Golf Association (£260 13/), Wellington Repertory Theatre (£100), Air Force Relations' organisations (£B4 10/), and Chemical Industries (N.Z.), Ltd. (£SO). Included are four smaller donations through the Lady Gahvav Guild.
