BAY OF ISLANDS FACTORY,

Ninety-fivfl tons more bubter was produced by the Bay of Islands Dairy Company this year than last, the respective figures being 1228 tons and 1033 tons. Of this amount 1077 ton** were forwarded for export, and the balance uold in the Dominion. When the further 2d per lb of butter-fat is paid on July 20, the average pay-out for the season will be 15.732 d. The number of suppliers this season was 547, compared with 585 last season. This year 62.69 per cent of the cream supplied was graded finest, compared with 54.16 per cent last year.
