WELLINGTON, Friday,
First prize in the "Wish Me Luck" art union, which was drawn in Wellington to-night, went to a small township in the far north, Whangaruru South, 28 miles from Hikurangi. As in the case of the previous art union, Auckland district ticket holders figured prominently. The principal prizes were won as follows:— First, £2000. —183062, Mac, Whangaruru South. Second, £1000. —128498, Luck Pound, Onehunga. Third, £500.—153371, We Too, Te Kuiti. Fourth, £400. —18031, Bghein, Wellington butt. Fifth, £300 —152581, Never Luckie, Te Awamutu. Sixth, £300. —82725, Wishbone, Nelson Stre6t, Hastings. Seventh, £100.—53986, E. Crundevelt, Belfast, Canterbury.
