WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following apecial weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to fresh southerly winds. Occasional showers, but weather mainly fair to cloudy and cool. Seas slight to moderate. A depression remains almost stationary north-east of New Zealand. Pressure is high to the south and west. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was reoeived from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-east, moderate; sea, slight; weather fine, but cloudy; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
