British Bombing Attacks On

Aerodromes.

An official report states that the R.A.F. yesterday wand last night bombed concentrations (if barges on the Dutch sea coast and set fire to troop-carrying 'planes and other aircraft on Belgium, Dutch, German and Trench aerodroums.

The Air Ministry reports tliat durinjr E.A.F. raids British bombers attacked oil plants, communications, aircraft factories, and canals in Germany and German-occupied territories. One of our 'planes i*> missing. A group of hangars in Brussels airport was set on fire. At least five Junkers bombers and other 'planes are believed to have been hit. The R.A.F. bombed The. Hajrue aerodrome and saw hijrh explosive and incendiary bom be burstinjr amid the 'planes and the German crews as they raced to cover. Three German 'planes were burning fiercely as the raiders left. Dive-bombing attacks were also made at Aachen. Hamburg, Xeumtiiister. Osnabruck, Luneii, Stonier, Mervllle. and the western extremity of the Zuider Zee. The R.A.F. destroyed 40 f.erm;in warplanes between June 23 and July 4. The Berlin news agency, after alleging that 40 civilians were killed and wounded in a British air raid on the Hamburg residential area, declares that the hour of retaliation is rapidly approaching. The casualties are reported to include 12 children, one man and three women killed.
