CARS COLLIDE.

TWO WOMEN INJURED.

When they -were involved in a collision with a taxi-cab near the Auckji :d Mental Hospital, Avondale, early this afternoon, two women, who were travelling in a. light car, suffered severe head injuries. The two women, who were unconscious, were taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. Their condition is serious. Neither of the women had been identified this afternoon.
