ENEMY ALIENS.
TRIBUNAL TO OPERATE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) : WELLINGTON, this day. The position of enemy aliens cropped ' up in a question put by Mr. Broadfoot (Opposition, Waitomo), to the Attor-ney-General (Mr. Maeon) in the House of Representatives last night. Mr.' Broadfoot asked whether in view of the Prime Minister's recent statement that a tribunal would be set up ! to examine 'the bona fides of enemy | aliens in the Dominion would the j Attorney-General advise the House ' when the personnel of such tribunal would be announced, and when it would start to function. Mr. Broadfoot added that action by such a body would relieve much of the uneasiness which was apparent in the community.
