AUCKLAND REP. TEAM FOR WAIKATO GAME.
DICK AND C. BRADY NOT AVAILABLE. The Auckland Rugby team to play Waikato in the Hist representative match of the season <m Saturday week nt Eden Park will be finally selected by Mr. F. TT. Lucas at the end of the week. Nineteen players were chosen for training, but two of them, both backs, C. Brady and J. Dick, nave notified the selector that they are not available. There are consequently just the
required number of backs. Tiro of the ten forwards will be eliminated after next Saturday's games.
L. \V. shubert, who won a place In the North Island team last year and also in the All Black trials, is expected to return to Auckland from Christchurch. and would be a candidate for a wing three-quarter position if he reproduced last year's form. However, he will have to fulfil the three weeks' residential qualification for representative panics.
