Flying Boat Cuba To Be

Converted. USED IN INDIAN OCEAN SURVEY (Received 2 p.m.) SAN DIEGO (Calif.), July 1. Britain is reported to have purchased the flying boat Cuba, which made a survey flight from Australia to South Africa in June of last year, with Captain P. G. Taylor as chief pilot, and Dr. Richard Archbold, the owner, on board. The Cuba will be converted into a long-range bomber.
