Many Meetings Held In The Transvaal. DISOBEDIENCE URGED. (Received 0.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN - . June 38. '"Stop the War" meetings were held in many parts of the Transvaal and resolutions were passed demanding that the Government should seek aa immediate peace with Italy and Germany, and attacking the Government's order for tfie surrender of privately-owned rifles. Owners of rifles were urged not to comply with the order. SWEDISH PAPER PULP. GREATER EXPORT TO REICH. (Received 11 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, June 30. A trade conference between Sweden and Germany has concluded. Sweden increases her export of paper pulp to Germany by 200,000 tons a year.
