DAMAGE BY FIRE.
Machines from the City and Western Districts lire stations answered a call on Saturday night to an outbreak of fire in the residence of Mr. N. M. Gimm, 12, Tole Street, Ponsonby. Though the fire had a firm hold when the engines arrived, no difficulty wa-s experienced in quelling the flames. Two rooms were fairly extensively damaged.
