To avoid finishing championship matches and others in the dark all club* hare been advised by the Auckland Rugby League that curtain-raiser fixtures must commence promptly at 1.80 p.m., and finish not latefc than 3 p.m. The bell will be rung at Carlaw Park at three o'clock sharp and no extra time will be allowed. Senior grade fixtures for Saturday:— Manukau' v. North; Shore, Carlaw Park No. 1 3 p.mi, Mr. O. Chalmers: Marlst v. -Ponsonby; Carlaw Park No. 1, 1.30 Mr. J. Hawkes: Cdty v. Newton, Carlaw Park No. 2 3 p.m., Mr. J. ' Jones; Mount Albert v. Papakura, Ellerslie, 3 p.m., Mr. S. Billman.
