Colleague Gives Account Of His Death. CRASH WHILE STUNTING. LONDON, June 20. "It was a tragedy that such a fine airman should be killed stunting," said a colleague who witnessed the crash in which the New Zealand "ace," FlyingOfficer "Cobjjer" Kain, was killed. The crash occurred on June 11 while Kain's aeroplane was waiting at the airfield in France to take him back to England, where he had been posted for a period of duty as an instructor. "H» came into the mess at breakfast time and said he wanted to do a few stunts before returning," said Kain's colleague. "He went to his fighter, and we watched spellbound as he did double loops. "Then he tried a loop when the machine seemed to be only 100 feet from the ground. He nearly did it, but one wing touched the ground as he was turning and in a second the machine crashed." I
