AGAINST TALKS. French Colonies Throughout ' World. "FIGHT TO THE FINISH." United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, June 20. The permanent committee of the French colony in London unanimously passed a resolution emphasising determination to continue the struggle alongside Britain until victory is achieved. A Belgrade message says the French community in Yugoslavia telegraphed President Lehrun beseeching that he immediately break off pourparlers with the enemy. 'Die French community in South Africa, cabled President Lebrun describing a separate peiwe as incompatible with France's tradition of honour. The Havas agency from Tunis states that elected representatives of the French population of Tunisia have sent a message to Marshal Petain stating: "Tunisia cannot l>e dissociated from France. We desire to help to defend France and the French Empire by all possible means." Leading members or the French colony in Cairo passed a resolution protesting against negotiations with Germany and demanding to fight to a finish. Revolts against the Italians are reported to be beginning in each province of Abyssinia, says a Jibuti message. K.A.F. damage to Italian bases has convinced the Abyssinians of Britain's superiority. Italian 'planes visit Jibuti four times a day without dropping bombs.
