AIR CHIEF'S PRAISE.

AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY. British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 20. Air Chief Marshal Sir Cyril Newall, Chief of the Air Stnff, has issued the following message:—"On behalf of the R.A.F., I desire to express the sincere gratitude of all ranks to the aircraft industry for the magnificent response to the additional calls upon the industry, made in the past three weeks. In particular, the R.A.F. wishes to offer its thanks to the great body of men and women who, by working long hours at high pressure, have made possible such an outstanding contribution to our air effort."
