Cut Flowers.—A large quantity of flowers came forward to-day. and on the whole met with a good demand. Prices in most' canes maintained recent high levels, although there was a slight easing in values towards the close of the sale. Poultry.—At to-day's auctions the supply of poultry was medium and the demand was fair. Prices paid were the same as last week for most lines. Selling rates: — Cockerels: Heavy breeds, prime, 4/ to 6/ each; not* prime. 3/ to 4/; light breeds, prime, 3/ to 5/; not prime, 2/ to 3/. Fat hens: Heavy breeds, 4/ to 5/; light breeds, 2/6 to 4/. Drakes: Young, prime, 3/ to 3/6: smaller, 2/ to 3/. Ducks: Young. 3/ to 4/: old, 2/ *o 3/. Drakes: Old, 2/ to 3/. Geese: 3/ to 5/.
