REV. A. C. LAWRY.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The death has occurred of the Rev. Albert Charles Lawry, aped 78. He was a son of the Rev. H. H. Lawry, the first Wesleyan minister born in Australia, and a grandson of the Rev. Walter Lawry, the first Wesleyan missionary to Tonga and the second to Australia and New Zealand. His death completes a ministry exercised over 123 years by himself, his father and grandfather.
