McCREADY-KATAN IN EMPIRE TITLE BOUT.
One oC the most thrilling matches of (he present wrestling season should result from the meeting at the Auckland Town Hall on (Saturday night oC Earl McCrcady, British Empire heavy-weight champion, and .Tohn Katun. The matcl; is for the title. In their previous meeting McCready wns hard pressed all the way, and In the draw that resulted he retained the title by right of possession. ■McCready is now in excellent form, and, It Is reported, lie is battling much more forcefully than he has in some previous seasons. He stated at the beginning of the season that be did not intend to "take everything" without reply. McCready hns curried out that intention, hut the IfllO team is of such strength that he bus had to battle hard in all his matches to date.
