FACTORY RAZED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Buildings, stock and plant worth £70,000 were destroyed to-night when fire burned out the factory of New Zealand Slippers, Limited, Railway Avenue, Lower Hutt. Two engines of the Lower Hutt fire brigade were powerless to queli the blaze. The destruction of the factory will throw some 320 men and women out of work.
