EXCITING WEEKS.

Australian And Mis New Zealand Wife In Belgium. NAZI TREACHERY SUCCEEDS. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, June 20. A former Adelaide resident, Mr. Reg F. Conrad, and his New Zealand wife", have arrived in London after five weeks under aerial bombardment in Belgium and France. They were in Paris when the Germans entered the outskirts. Mr. Conrad lived in Brussels and saw German propaganda, costing about £1100 a day, slowly turn the minds of the Belgians until the invasion of the Low Countries, when, he estimated, at least 80 per cent of the population were openly pro-German. The Conrads were bombed and machine-gunned between Brussels and Paris.
