Lord Beaverbrook, Minister for I Aircraft Production, interviewed by the Associated Press, said: "Aircraft production in this country in every category since May 10 has exceeded the total casualty list, including casualties caused by accident °t home. "Aircraft production and repairs have replenished stocks. There is now on Land a very good surplus stock of engines. "The public should give thank* for this immense effort to all the aircraft factories, engine shops and workers who have striven night and day without time off for recreation, regardless of the pleasures and the amenities of life. "Their conduct is beyond praise. We can place our future in their keeping with confidence."
