N.Z. POTATOES. AUSTRALIAN MARKET. 5000 TONS THIS YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Dress Association.) WELLiXGTOX, this day. Official advice has been received from Australia to the effect that the Federal Government decided to permit the sale of 5000 tons of Xew Zealand potatoes on the Australian market this year, said the-Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Xash, to-day. Although details of the necessary marketing arrangements are still under discussion between the two Governsaid Mr. Xash, '"the Federal authorities have requested that the Xew Zealand Government undertake the actual marketing of these potatoes, and the Internal Marketing Division will complete all necessary arrangements for export, under which a thousand tons will be shipped during each of the months of July, August and September, and the balance of 2000 tons at a later period.*'
