DUBLIN, June 16.

The Prime Minister of Eire, Mr. Eamon de. Valera, and Mr. W. T. Cosgrave and Mr. W. Norton, 1 ' leading members of the Opposition, stood on the same platform and addressed the largest meeting for years, voicing complete national unity for the defence of national freedom.

Mr. de Valera said the danger was more imminent each hour.

The Speaker in the Dail, Mr. F. Fahy, lute announced that 50,000 recruits have joined the services in the paet fortnight.

APPROACHING TWO MILLIONS
