FOOTBALLERS' INJURIES.
Three footballers were admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from injuries received during games on Saturday. Their condition is not serious.
Playing for Tuakau Juniors against Maraniarua at Tuakau, Edward Stephen Miller, aged IS, of Nelson Street, Piikekohe, fractured his right kneecap and was brought to Auckland by ambulance. Raymond George Foster, aged 19, an aircraftsman at the Hobsonville air base, suffered slight concussion while plaving for the Air Force third grade team against Training College at Western Springe. Slight concussion was also suffered by Eric Mead, aged 17, of 34, Victoria Road, Papatoetoe, in a fourth grade game at Ellerslie.
