MAJOR G. A. GIBBS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLIXGTOX. Wednesday. The Xew Zealand Army medical service lost a valuable officer of long experience with the death in the Wellington Hospital to-day of Major G. A. Gibbs, quartermaster and staff officer to the Director-General of Medical Services. Major Oibbs, who was aged ti<>, had be-in in retirement for some years, but on the outbreak of war he responded without hesitation to a request to return •to his old post.
