HELPS ROMANCE.
BUDAPEST TELEPHONE "N.Z. WOMAN'S WEEKLY." VARIED MAGAZINE FARE. Readers of the "Xew Zealand Woman's Weekly" will find the unusual article. '"Romance and Information,"' whicu appears in this week's issue extremely emertaining. The writer describes the telephone service in Budapest, which seems to be a combination of an information department and a romance bureau. "A unique feature of Budapest's telephone service is the arrangement of "telephone parties.' You can ask a special department to ring up several numbers and connect them simultaneously with your own. If you have a choice bit of possip repardinp one of your best friends to tell to your three other best friends, you mav ring all three simultaneously and have a wonderful time taking the fourth to pieces without a moment's delay." Other features of the service (particularly its romantic side) are described in detail.
The fourth and final article of the series "A Woman at the Front' , appears in this week's issue. Headers will be interested in the illustrated article :>n one of Christchurch's loveliest homes. There is a generous instalment of tinpopular serial, "The Master of Hunter's Horn,"' which is nearinjj completion. Two well-written short stories complete the fiction side of the majrazine.
The cooking page provides some economical suggestions for servinjj potatoes in different ways. A cash prize :s offered for a competition connected with
the page: "What Your Handwriting Show*," -while the film article, "At Home With Walt Dfenev." presents an intimate and informative account of this great artist's private and business life.
