THIRD ECHELON.
MEN LEAVE NEXT WEEK. THREE TRAINING CAMPS. Alterations in mobilisation instructions for the Third Echelon and reinforcements have been announced by headquarters of the Northern Military" District. Two thousand men from the district will be leaving next week for the Papakura, Trcntham and Burnhain mobilisation camps, and, added to the 600 officers, non-commissioned officers, and details in camp, this will make a total of 2600 from the province. First troops to leave from the city will be those going to Burnham, and they will travel on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning the Papakura detachment will depart and the same night the men for .Trentham will leave. Following are the camps to which the. units will go: — Burnham. —2nd Divisional Ammunition Company, Army Service Corps; 6th Field Ambulance Medical Corps; reinforcements for the Divisional Cavalry, Army Service Corps, Medical Corps and Infantry. Papakura.—6th Field Regiment, Artillery; reinforcements Artillery; 18th Light Aid Detachment; 7th Anti-Tank Regiment, Artillery (33rd Battery); 24th (Auckland) Battalion; reinforcements Infantry; 2nd Expeditionary Force Overseas Base; Base Pey Office; Maori Battalion reinforcements.
Trcntham. — Sth Field Company, Engineers; reinforcements, Divisional Engineers; 2nd Divisional .Signals; reinforcement, Divisional Signals; Headquarters, 6th Infantry Brigade; Oth. Infantry Anti-Tank Company; reinforcement, Infantry Anti-Tank; 2nd General Hospital; reinforcements, General Hospitals; reinforcements, Infantry Machine-Gun Battalion.
