SABOTEURS BUSY.
Operate In Conjunction With Nazi Consuls In U.S. ACTIVITY IN CANADA. (Received 12.30 p.m.) TORONTO, May 1. Fire-Marshal W. J. Scott said that German saboteurs were active in Ontario. They were operating in conjunction with German Consuls in the United States. There had been three arrests. There were other instances of attempted sabotage, from which damage was trifling, mainly damage to property and machinery. For example, small screws had been dropped into machinery and transformers had been damaged. He added that the* had been two unsuccessful attempts to destroy liners leaving. Canadian ports.
