STEADY DEMAND.
WESTFIELD SALES. LARGER YARDING. FULLY LATE RATES HELD. A slightly larger yarding of ox beef at the M estfield fat stock eale to-day met with a steady demand, fully late rates being maintained. Extra choice ox beef sold at 36, per 1001b, and a line of steers from Mr. H. E. Reed, Waerenga, made up to £lo a,'. Inquiry was keen for an avcrauc entry of cows and heifers and a tirin sale resulted at late rates. A line of cows and heifer* from Mr. Haliday, Paerata, made to £10 13/. Prices for a good yarding of calves improved slightly on last week's rates and with steady competition a satisfactory sale resulted.
