LABOURERS MEET.

CONFIDENCE IN OFFICIALS. The Auckland Labourers' Union, at a meeting last night decided to affiliate with the Peace and Anti-Conscription Council. The meeting also condemned the action of "certain elements on some of the building jobs around Auckland, who are endeavouring to discredit and disrupt the organisation, and thereby weaken its influence where the real interests of the members are concerned." and decided further that it had every confidence in the secretary and officials of the union, who had been recently elected to office in strict accordance with the rules of the union.
