OBITUARY.

MR. F. J. ELSMORE. The death has occurred at the asre of 93, of Mr. J-redwick .John Klsmore, of Grey Lynn. Mr. Klstnore. who wae born in Kent, came to New Zealand with his wile about 1574 and carried on his trade as a carpenter, being employed by the Kauri limber Coinpanv for a number of years, lie retired at the ape of 7(>. his wife having predeceased him in 1594. Mr. Klsmore, who had been blind for some time, was a member of a long-lived family, two brothers and a sister all living to over 9(1 years of ai_V. Mr. hlsniore is survived by three children. There are 19 grandchildren and 14 |rreat-«rrandchildren.
