SEASON'S FINALS. INTER-CLUB CONTESTS. The yachting season wns practically completed nt the week-end, the only events still undecided being in the Silver Fern and Z classes. There was a light westerly on Saturday, but it freshened to a hard breeze for the Point Chevalier Club's events yesterday. Two bonts capsized and the others were well reefod down. The chief events on Saturday were the annual challenge races for the Goodfellowship cups between the Taknpunn, Ponsonby. Tnmnkl and Toint Chevalier Clubs, sailed in the Z class boats of the Tnknpuna Club. On the Manukau, the Yacht Club held their finals in the Z nnd larger classes, a field of 15 competing in the general handicap nnd nine in the 55 class. The race for the Ooodfellowsbip Cup between this club and Taknpun* will be sailed next Saturday at Bayswnter, together with the juniors 'of both clubs who race for the Harmony Cup.
