LATE MR. J. S. BRIGHAM.

CITY MEN'S TRIBUTES. \ A tribute to the. life and work of the late Mr. J. S. Brigham, former Town Clerk of Auckland, was paid by the chairman of the Auckland Transport Board, Mr. W. H. Xagle, nt a meeting of the board to-day. Mr. Xagle n.eiitioned that Mr. Brioham was one of the board's sinking fund ooinmisaionws at. the time of his death. A. motion of condolence with the relatives was passc.l. the members of the board standing in silence. Prior to ordinary business at to-day's Rotary Clyb luncheon, the President Rotarian, C. K. Grierson, referred to the recent death of Air. J. S. Brigham, a former town clerk, who had been a member of the club for many years. Their friendship for their late member had been very real. Members stood in eilence.
