2,000,000 Gallons Collected In Few Hours. BIG STRIKE IN FRANCE. (Received 1 p.m.) PARIS, April 28. Oil has been struck at St. Gaudens after boring far some months. Crude oil is rushing at a pressure of 14221b to the square inch. It contains 22 per cent of pure petrol. Over 2,000,000 gallons were collected in a few hours. A message from Bucharest, Rumania, ■states that the armed guard over oil wells hae been increased. Troops are guarding the Bucharest aerodrome for the first time. St. Gaudene is in the Haute-Garonne department of France, on the "River Garonne. It is a pilgrim resort, and manufactures clorii. The altitude is 1325 ft.
