(ierinaii patrol activity on the Western Front yesterday included an attack mi a French outpost, from which the French withdrew under heavy artillery fire.
The (lermans. buried under an avalHliclie of French shells, were for*»o to retire. The French then reocclipied the post. Lar-t night French and (icriiian guns peppered each other in the Saar and Alsace areas.
