DELAYS TO AIR MAILS.
NOT DUE TO CENSORSHIP.

WELLINGTON, this day.
"There have been occasional cases of delay in the arrival of air mail at destinations in England, but these have been caused mainly by time lost* in awaiting connections, and not by ccusorship or delay on the air service," said the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, in an interview.
The average time of transit over a period was 19 days to England, and 22 days to New Zealand. Tliis time would be further reduced with the inauguration of the trans-Tasman service to little more than a fortnight.
