ONE TO REMEMBER.
TRUE GUIDE ON IMPROVE. . -Although True Guide baa not succeeded m recent races, track work at Addingtou would suggest that this half-brother to bilver de Oro, Llewellyn's Pride, Blair Athoi and Jane Worthy is making steady improvement and is likelv to do better before long. His trainer. J. Mcßride has not hurried him at this stage, and though he does not impress as being of the same standard as other members of his family, ' e should not foe hard to place to advantage. AUSTRALIAN-BRED PACER. ' Nothing of a very serious nature has been asked of Heroic Prince in his work since joining J. Young's Addiiwrton stable, but the Australian-bred pacer has pleased in his minor tasks to this stage of his preparation. He has a good style of moving and lie is an impressive pacer. GRAHAM DIRECT RESUMES. Graham Direct, who had to be put on the easy list some months ago, because of lameness, is again iback in work at Adkiington, but to this stage his tasks have been very easy. It is still doubtful whether he will stand up to another preparation, but it is hoped that the coining of softer tracks will be to his benefit. TWENTY GRAND WORTH WHILE. F. C. Dunlevey's team at Addington has been strengthened by the inclusion of Twenty Grand, a promising young pacer formerly trained by M. B. Bdwards. Twenty Grand has not been started this season, and for the last eight months he has been spelling, but last season he shaped very well and promised to develop good form. During hie absence from the tracks he has grown into a really godd type of pacer, and when thoroughly tuned up for racing he should have little difficulty in paying his way. ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. The form shown by Renown's Beit this season has not been very pleasing, and it would seem that she has now reached a stage where she cannot be expected to make a great deal of improvement. Early in the present term she was trained by M. Holmes -without winning a race, and she was later transferred to C. S. Donald's stable, ibut in 22 starts under these trainers she has failed to be successful. She has now been given another change of stables, and she will 'be handled by A. Holmes.
