REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Alexander Mines. —For the week ending Aj>ril IS —No. 6 level: North drive advanced lofr. The country on the eastern side of the drive appears very disturbed, while the country rock on the western side looks more promising. There are a few quartz leaders in the face at quite dry. Stoping : Stoping has been carried out on three faces above No. 0 level north and south of No. 2 rise, and also above the intermediate north of No. 3 rise. Average width of all three faces is 24in. A considerable amount of filling lias been done in the stopes above No. 5 intermediate level by driving into the rock walls of the stopes. During the week 4o tons of stone were transported to the battery.
