Both Tailored And Dressmaker Lines. (By SHKILAH GRAHAM.) Priscilla l.anp ha? followed the prevailing custom of copying elothcs for private wear from her pictures. Copies of a couple of evening gowns worn bv Priscilla in a recent picture now repose in her home wardrobe—a vouthful formal of blue and white cotton in a bold print, with snug Ix.dice and full tiered skirt. Across the neck and backline is- a wreath of gardenias. Her other gown is a jacket dinner dress of blue and white checked faille. The ,-kirt has a bright red .jersey top. broad-fitted waistband and skirt that flares from the waist. The tiny jacket has a notched collar and facings of white pique. i

You get an idea of the trend of coats | by the costumes designed for Andrea: Leeds to wear in her new film, which show a clever combination of tailored! and dressmaker lines. A typical one is of aquamarine wool with double-breasted | closing, fitted waistline, hut with soft! cartridge pleats at shoulder and at cliff I of sleeves. The coat is worn o\er a simple frock of henna-ro-e silk with accessories matching the dress. Flowers and veils come with the spring to judge by the hats purchased by Hrenda Joyce, both of them boasting either flowers or veiling. For afternoon wear! with a dull blue frock Hrenda wears ai cap of matching blue poppies and soft pink moss rosebuds thicklv swathed in blue veiling. Very gay is Uremia's gay !)!>'* sailor, in canary yellow straw with two immense roses placed like a pompom at centre front, the flowers shading from yellow to russet. The hat is draped in navy blue veil. A pearl-studded belt is the highlight of Laraine Day's shirt maker dinner frock. Fashioned of black crepe de chine, the dress features long sleeves with snug cuffs at the wrist, fastened by matching pearl buttons. The skirt is wide with
